Class- 9.20.17

Today in class we made sure everyone completed their homework. Some completed it and some didn't. The homework assigned gave me a realization of the importance of geography. Many of us when assigned the map drawing were clueless. After returning that fun homework, we continued onto class. We learned why each point on the earth is unique. This is because of regions, and places. A place is a point, a unique location of a feature. It could have different economical situations, as well as different amounts of land. Regions are areas of unique characteristics. Every place on the earth is unique. A region tells you about a a lot about a place. It displays the society, religions, culture, language and much more. A place is a more detailed description of an area, while a region is a bigger picture of something. In the end, we had a great class.
